Huwan came from the tribe of Dumagat from the mountain area south of Luzon. Based on their ancestor's story, they came from a part of Sierra Madre known as Bahaghari where the land is rich, full of fruits and animals, pure spring water, and peaceful surroundings. Huwan's tribe is poor and being taken advantage by the commercial people who trade food and goods for forest products. Until one day, Huwan's tribe decided to look for Bahaghari but was totally surprised on what they found.
