This retelling of a popular Indonesian tale features Kanchil, the beloved mouse deer, who, on a bright sunny day, falls into a deep pit in the forest. Nothing can keep him down for long and he soon invents a prophecy to trick a gullible snake, a nervous wild boar, and a hungry tiger into helping him out.
